India in Olympics At rio olympics for the first time india has participated in 18 events out of 28 which says that how we are progressing in sports. For the first time a woman athlete reached finals in gymnastics event which clearly says that indian woman are progressing in each and every field. We did not won many medals when compared to other countries but i can surely say that we will be in top 5 nations in medals tally by next 8 years. Athletes like Pv sindhu, saina nehwal,sania mirza, Abhinav Bindra Gagan narayan Mary kom etc will make our country proud. Our sports commitee wants to see kabbadi in olympics.
