QB ERROR 1328

 QuickBooks error 1328 is again an error which is related to update of this banking and accounting software. It also occurs when a user tries to repair install or uninstall of this QB software. So if someone experience any problem while updating will see a pop up box displaying a error message. This error can usually similar to c:\config.msi\PT**.TMP.

This error is presented in different ways and their terms and options are different as they vary from one cause to another cause and there is a note to be remembered that every file name will be the same when this error occurs but the C:\config.msi\path will be the same for every file.

So one has to solve this error which can be obtained by following any of the two solutions given below with detail description of order of steps to be followed to solve without any interruptions.

Solution – 1 : Reinstall using a Clean install.

There are three steps in this process which is explained in full detail below. The steps are

Uninstall Quick Books Desktop

Rename the installation folders

Reinstall Quick Books desktop

Uninstall Quick Books Desktop :

1. On your keyboard, press Windows and R at same time  to open the Run command.

2. Type in Control Panel and click OK.

3. Click Programs and Features (If Control Panel is in Category View, click Uninstall a Program.)

4. In the list of programs, select QuickBooks and click Uninstall/Change.

5. Follow the prompts to complete the process.

Rename the installation folders :

1. Download the Quick Books clean install tool

2. Run the clean install tool.

3. Manually rename all the folders of Quick Books desktop installation folders.

4. Error Access denied when renaming the folders.

1.     Right-click the Windows Task Bar and select Task Manager.

2. Under the Processes tab, click the Image Name column header to sort the processes alphabetically by name.

3. Select QBDBMgrN.exe, QBDBMgr.exe, QBCFMonitorService.exe, Qbw32.exe and click End Process.

4. Click End Process.

5. Click Yes to the message, "WARNING: Terminating a process can cause undesired results including loss of data and system instability...."


Reinstall Quick Books desktop :

      Download the software from the official website and try to reinstall the software in your desktop.

Solution – 2 is that usage of QBInstall tool which is used to identify the errors automatically which solves the error 1328.

Even if we perform the above methods the error still persists we need to contact the QB software experts team which will solve the error for sure.
