Dark Mode On WhatsApp

WhatsApp a famous application used widely across the globe for various purposes has not yet introduced the dark mode on it's own application due to some changes in its latest beta version and it might be fixed very soon and dark mode will be introduced very soon. It's very important for users to use this mode as it protects our eyes during night as it reduces the brightness of display. It also saves our battery life which is mainly beneficial to traveller.

Dark mode enables screen background as black and other features like text etc will be displayed in white which is a reverse scenario of normal version used frequently.
Apps like Facebook, Kindle etc are using dark mode which is in built in their apps and WhatsApp will be soon adding it. If still someone wants to try out this mode can achieve this by following the below steps:

FOR ANDROID:
Once you have downloaded the Android Q beta, you can go to Settings -> Display -> Select Theme and choose the Dark option. But that is not all—this is where some geekery may be required. Once you have selected this option, go to Settings -> About Phone and then ta on the Build Number details 7 times. This will enable something known as the Developer Mode. There will be a overlay on the screen that will also tell you when this happens. Now, head to the Developer Options, and select “override force-dark”—this will apply the Dark Mode across all apps on the phone running the Android Q beta, irrespective of whether that app supports the Dark Mode officially or not.
This might be risky but can be done if you be very careful while doing this settings on your mobile.

FOR IOS:

When compared to "Android" this becomes bit simpler. Here, you need to enable the Invert Colors option to give WhatsApp a darker personality. On your iPhone running iOS 11 or iOS 12, go to Settings -> General -> Accessibility. Here, you will see a bunch of options, including Invert Colors, Color Filters, Auto Brightness and Reduce White Point. You need to select the first option, which takes you to a page that has two more options. Here, select Smart Invert. This enables a darker looking theme across every aspect of iOS and the apps installed. And this includes WhatsApp. This can be tried on "IOS11 and IOS12".  From IOS13 this feature is inbuilt.

NOTE: Don't use beta version of this application on your primary phone to try this feature as it may effect phone performance and many more.
