JUDY-MALWARE
Nowadays malware has been effecting the technical side of the world where gadgets like laptop,computer, mobile phone has already experienced the negative effects of this malware attacks.
Now google play store where every android user will use to download apps to be updated and to be entertained by many apps.But a malware called "JUDY" which already effected 36.5 million android users.
Normally "It is an auto-clicking adware which was found on 41 apps developed by a Korean company. The malware uses infected devices to generate large amounts of fraudulent clicks on advertisements, generating revenues for the perpetrators behind it."
They can't exactly say what the problem is with this malware as fhe firm is not certain on how long the malicious code was present inside the apps; therefore exact extent can't be determined.
The infected apps were present in the Play Store under the garb of casual cooking and fashion games under the "Judy" brand and its malicious activities didn't come under the radar as the malicious code was downloaded from a non-Google server after the games were installed in the phone.The affected user will click on Google adds which became a way of giving money to the attacker.
It has been spreading when the developer's borrow the code from Judy for various games and apps etc also ended up with the malware in their respective apps.
These apps also had a large amount of downloads between 4 and 18 million."So we need to be very careful before we download apps as it may crash our mobile which is a powerful tool in today's world of technology.
