Jharkhand Schemes for Rural Development
Across our country every state is facing a major issue of unemployment especially in rural areas. In such crucial time Jharkhand state government has announced three schemes which will change the fortune of unemployment as they create vast opportunities of employment mainly for stranded Indians returning to their home from various states after a long time.
Jharkhand govt has joined their hands with Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS). for effective operation of the three schemes introduced which are mention below:
Birsa Harit Gram Yojana (BHGY),
Neelambar Pitambar JAL Sammridhi Yojana (NPJSY)
Veer Sahid Poto Ho Khel Vikas Scheme (VSPHKVS).
Each scheme has its own significance and acts as a huge finance pillar to various famalies who are facing this problem in the time of global pandemic and post pandemic too.
BHGY scheme which is a afforestation scheme provides opportunities to approx 5 lakh families by providing 100 fruit bearing plants.Enabling this scheme can result in providing Rs50,000 per year per family from fruit harvesting. This can generate 25crorepersons per day work in next 5 years.
NPJSY scheme is beneficial to farmers and land owners as 5 lakh acres of land will be used for irrigation and cultivation which results in 10crorepersons per day job opprtunities in coming 4-5 years.
VSPHKVS scheme is beneficial to sports persons across the state as 5000 sports ground will be built in almost 4300 panchayts which provides vast employment opportunities.
For this govt is about to invest 20,000 crores for wages in the labour intensive schemes which is a great initiative by CM MR. Soren to develop the rural areas as there is a saying rural development is nation development.
