In olden days one can watch the telecast of any program/show etc in their respective places where a television set has been set up.They had to wait for a program to be re-telecast once it has already watched by audience(we).We just depend upon the cable operator to watch a show successfully without any obstacle while telecasting for eg:power loss may delay in the cable operating process to display any program.The picture quality will be of auto pixels decided already which cannot be changed by any user as we all used to watch only with help of cable.One cannot carry his entire television set to anywhere in the world and watch as its not portable.
      The time changed along with the development of technology which enabled a lot of improvements in field of television which is an essential tool in one's life who is sustaining on this planet earth.Television is portable in the names of many apps which are easily downloaded in a mobile/tablet device and use in a effective manner.One can watch livestream of many events in various fields like sports,reality shows etc with help of Internet and apps in their respective devices.We have led,lcd,4k based television which improve the quality and create different views which is amazing and beautiful to watch.
     The apps like hotstar,jio tv,voot etc enables us to watch various programs live and we can avoid waiting for the retelecast of any program as we did in ancient days.We can watch by recording the live streaming of telecast which is a smart feature.Jio-tv enables us to go back and select our favourite shows and watch without any break which will help in saving the time which can be used for other purposes.We can download the shows and watch it offline.Power loss will not effect the telecast as it is all related to mobile Internet.We can adjust the picture quality of any program according to the strength of the signals in phone as Internet depends on the signals of sim in phone
           The advantages of modern television is that we can save time by watching the important part of the program in a busy schedule by forwarding or rewinding the program.
      It is portable.

    The disadvantage is that it depends on the signals and we are living in area where signals vary from place to place which effects the picture quality too.
